Artist & Founder
JW Thompson is the artist and founder behind JOIQ. With a background in professional photography, his work focuses on transforming photographic moments into sophisticated artwork designed specifically for interior spaces.
His career includes photographing cast members of Netflix’s Selling Sunset in Los Angeles, being featured in VancouverHome Magazine for real estate photography, and capturing a Vancouver residence owned by music legend Phil Collins.
JW approaches every project with a focus on authenticity and atmosphere—creating imagery that reflects the personality of the space and the people who live within it.
His Signature Session concept begins with a professional photoshoot that captures a client’s story and vision, transforming those moments into custom-crafted artwork designed to live within the space itself.
